Randy Orton Vs Kane - Extreme Rules ( Fall Count Anywhere Match )

At Extreme Rules, Randy Orton will face The Big Red Monster Kane in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. How extreme will The Viper go to finally put an end to his monstrous foe once and for all?

A WrestleMania rematch of epic proportions, the diabolic match stipulation will provide the perfect grounds for Orton and Kane to exorcise their inner demons. No strangers to brutal, dangerous bouts, it’s safe to assume that WWE’s Apex Predator and resident monster will take each other to the edge on Sunday, April 29, to determine who will put the exclamation point on what has been a year’s worth of dissension.

The roots of this intense rivalry date back to July of last year, when Orton and Kane battled in an unforgettable Street Fight on SmackDown. In an effort to purge his humanity, Kane repeatedly struck Orton with a steel chair, an object that he brandished often over the course of the bout.

After the Street Fight ended, Kane, limping and battered, staggered over to the victorious Orton — who was also limping from multiple, horrific chair blasts — and, in an unexpected moment, extended his hand to WWE's Apex Predator in the ultimate sign of respect. Orton took Kane’s hand and the two shook as men.

After battling John Cena for months on end, The Big Red Monster returned to Friday nights to find closure with The Viper — with a profound desire to expunge himself of all traces of humanity.

Stalking The Viper for weeks on end, Kane would soon face Orton at WrestleMania in a bout that ended with a victory for The Devil's Favorite Demon, courtesy of a ring-shaking chokeslam off the top rope (PHOTOS). Then, just five nights later on SmackDown, Orton defeated Kane in a vicious No Disqualification Match. The Viper got some redemption after his loss on The Grandest Stage of Them All, overcoming a ruthless steel chair assault to plant Kane with a resounding RKO. Instead of putting an end to this rivalry, however, Orton’s victory only worked to raise the ire of the monster.

On SuperSmackDown LIVE: Blast from the Past on April 10, Orton’s world went red during his match against Mark Henry when Kane’s pyrotechnics interrupted the bout. Kane then appeared on the TitanTron to reveal that he had attacked Randy’s father and WWE Hall of Famer "Cowboy" Bob Orton, who lay motionless at the monster’s feet. The Viper rushed backstage to help his dad, but Kane was waiting in the shadows with a pipe.

The assault on two generations of Ortons brought WWE’s Apex Predator past his breaking point. On the April 20 episode of SmackDown, Orton emphatically stated his intentions for their Falls Count Anywhere Match at Extreme Rules, saying, "Kane’s going to find out how sick and twisted I can be."

When they faced each other a year ago in a Street Fight on SmackDown, there was a mutual respect between Orton and Kane. This time around, that once-held respect is replaced by pure, simple hatred. The Street Fight ended with an RKO that drove the monster’s skull down onto a steel chair. But now that Kane has fully exorcised his humanity, will their rematch at Extreme Rules have a different result? Or will WWE’s Apex Predator finally get retribution on The Big Red Monster?

Daniel Bryan comes out and says Sheamus took the coward's way out at Wrestlemania, and he made him feel like his title reign didn't happen. He says Sheamus has been taking shortcuts with Alberto Del Rio and referees, but he won't let that happen again this Sunday. Bryan says he will return to Chicago and shock the world, and he will beat Sheamus twice so it won't be a fluke victory like at Wrestlemania.
Bryan says he has a treat for the fans around the world, and he will outwrestle Sheamus so all of the question have been answered. He says he has the advantage and he will walk out of Extreme Rules as the champion, then he starts a YES! chant until AJ comes out.

Bryan tells her to turn around and go away, but she tells him no and he asks if she is out there to steal his spotlight and to get Sheamus to attack him. AJ says this is the only way she could get to him, and she asks to talk about their problems but he says he doesn't have anymore problems. He says he got rid of her because she was the problem, then she wishes him good luck but Bryan wishes she didn't come out there at all. Bryan says he wishes they never met or dated, then he wishes she was never even born and says he will answer another question while she starts to get upset. Bryan asks if there was a chance of him taking her back, then he says 'no' and throws the mic down before walking away, leaving AJ crying in the ring.

AJ vs Natalya

AJ continues to stare at the ramp and Natalya asks what is going on, but AJ turns around and slaps her in the face. She throws Natalya into the corner and repeatedly punches her in the face, then the ref pulls her away. AJ runs right back to the corner and continues to punch her, and the ref calls for the bell and AJ leaves while looking shocked at what she did.

Winner (by disqualification) - Natalya

Damien Sandow cuts another promo talking about advice given to us by Benjamin Franklin, and how will bring a new era of enlightenment. He says he will make us forget about casting text votes for dancing competitions, then thanks us for our time. We go to the ring for an introduction, and Brodus Clay tells them to cut his music because he wants to introduce his little brother. He says they will get to the dancing, but he brings out Hornswoggle in a tracksuit and they all dance to the ring.

Hunico (w/ Camacho) vs Brodus Clay (w/ Cameron, Naomi & Hornswoggle)

Hornswoggle gets in Hunico's face and shakes like Brodus, and Hunico shoves him down so Brodus splashes him and throws Camacho off the apron. Brodus hits a T-Bone suplex and the Funk It splash to take the match, then he calls for Hornswoggle to hit a top rope tadpole splash before dancing.

Winner - Brodus Clay

Teddy Long is shown walking backstage when Darren Young and Titus O'Neil come up to him and mock him for no longer being in charge. John Laurinaitis walks over and says he listens to the people, and Young and Titus say they are going to be the new blood on the show. John tells Teddy he should have recognized talent, but he can do that since he is in charge of talent relations and he wears many hats. He says he will allow Teddy to do that tonight, and he puts a British guard's hat on him and tells him the Queen's guards don't talk, and he hopes he does a good job.

Matt Striker joins Randy Orton in the locker room for an interview, and he asks for Orton's thought about Kane attacking him and his father before showing a clip of it. Striker asks how his father is, and Orton says he is tough so he will be fine in time, but he can't say the same for Kane. Orton says Kane became a monster at Wrestlemania, but they can fight wherever they want at Extreme Rules, and Kane will find out exactly how sick and twisted he can be.

Winner - Alberto Del Rio

Danny Lerman vs Ryback

Lerman kicks Ryback in the legs but he gets thrown backwards with a legsweep, then Ryback hits a fallaway slam and calls for him to get up. Ryback hits a running lariat and says it's time to finish him, then he picks him up and hits a Muscle Buster for the win.

Winner - Ryback

Teddy Long is shown guarding John Laurinaitis' office when William Regal walks over and tries to get him to laugh, then he pats him on the shoulder and walks away. Aksana walks in with Antonio Cesaro and she asks why Teddy is wearing a funny costume, then she says Antonio is one of her old friends. She says he has dreams of becoming a WWE Superstar, then he asks why she said her boyfriend was an important part of WWE. Aksana says Teddy used to be in charge, but she wants to talk with John and brushes by Teddy, then they enter the office and John asks Teddy how he liked meeting her friend.

Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry & Cody Rhodes vs Sheamus, Randy Orton & The Great Khali

Cody runs over and takes out Khali's legs while he is making his entrance, and he celebrates in the ring while referees and trainers come out to check on Khali. Cody mocks them while they help Khali out of the arena, and the match ref says he doesn't know what he can do, but Big Show comes out to even the teams back up. The match is underway as we come back from a commercial, and Orton repeatedly punches Cody in the head and hiptosses him out of the corner. Cody takes a clothesline but ends up tagging out to Bryan, and he runs away when Orton tags Sheamus and he tags Cody right back in. Sheamus locks up with Cody in the corner and Cody tries to tag out, but Bryan stays on the floor and says his arm is bothering him.

Bryan bodyslams Orton and goes up top, but he misses a diving headbutt and Orton tags Show, and he clotheslines Henry and hits a corner splash. Cody kicks him from the apron, and Henry clotheslines him before tagging Cody back in, and he goes right back to work on Show's weakened shoulder.

Cody attacks his legs and shoulders, and he applies a figure four in the middle of the ring but reaches and tags Henry, and he gets in and splashes Show. Bryan tags in next and DDT's Show, but Show powers out of a pin that sends him to the floor, then Sheamus tags in an clotheslines Bryan.
